High priority is given to developing skills and training existing and future leaders, managers and specialists. The mills in Germany and Switzerland also increased their recruitment of young paper engineers to fill gaps and build up future potential. Recruiting guidelines have been implemented by each region to include different assessments to all position levels.
In order to meet future recruitment needs, Myllykoski and its Alliance partner focus on activities to establish and maintain relationship with vocational schools and universities. The mills host student visits from schools, vocational institutes and universities.
