For us at Myllykoski, sustainability is an integral part of our business, and it guides
all our actions.

In our operations throughout the value chain we take into consideration economic, environmental and social issues and adhere to international and local laws and regulations. We strive for continuous improvement and pursue transparent disclosure and open dialogue on the subject. We ask our partners and suppliers to comply with these principles.

For us, profitability is the indispensable prerequisite to provide wellbeing for our stakeholders and the society in which we live. In all our operations we seek an optimal balance of economic, environmental and social issues.

Sustainable development and care for the environment is the cornerstone of our company. In the development of products and production processes, we strive for energy efficiency, efficient use of materials, minimised environmental effects, including recycling, and safe disposal of solid residues.

We promote sustainable forestry, forest certification and verification of the origin of fibre. We monitor emissions, assess environmental impacts, measure our progress and use third-party verified environmental management systems.
